Our competitive team gives students the opportunity to further develop their dance skills through professional classes in all styles. 

We believe that DANCE lessons teach LIFE lessons! Understanding what being committed means, responsibility, respecting instructors and peers, the ability to manage their time and make wise decisions, learning adaptability and being prepared for their commitments are just a few of the values that we are instilling in our HDA dancers. 

Not only does our competitive program offer accelerated training, but focuses on mentorship, making connections, and giving dancers a dance family/community for life!

Our competitive program is designed for dancers ages 4-19 who truly have a love for dance. Those who put in the extra effort, time, and focus are rewarded with one of the most amazing experiences imaginable.

More Information:

We’re excited to announce the upcoming auditions for our Competition Lines for SZN 24! Dancers will learn an audition combo, be assigned numbers to wear, and will perform their combo in front of the faculty. Results will be emailed out by June 10th to each dance family.

Auditions for the Company season 2025-26 will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025. When selected for the team, students will be placed in the appropriate level team and classes by our professional staff.

Special Opportunity:

  • We will be selecting solos, duets, and trios at the discretion of the faculty and studio owner. If you are interested in being considered for one of these, please be sure to mark your interest on your audition questionnaire. Class Conflicts:
  • If you have any potential scheduling conflicts with weekly dance classes (e.g., church on Wednesdays, middle/high school dance team rehearsals, etc.), please make sure to note them on your registration questionnaire. This will help us ensure that you can attend weekly classes. Audition Date:
  • June 1st, 2025 11-4pm (exact times & questionaries will be emailed out)

HDA Babies Company Line:

  • Take class is Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Technique, and Acro
  • Dance 3 days week with select Saturday Acro and Ballet
  • Attends one dance convention

Pre Comp Line

  • Ballet/Tap Combo Class and Select Saturdays Acro/Tumbling
  • Competes in 1 Group at one local competition in May
